Gathering, comforting and exhilarating, the magic of Christmas comes alive in the eyes of our children. Each year, we develop precious family traditions. Traditions that our little ones will remember for the rest of their lives and that they will continue or transform in their turn. Here are 5 traditions to try for an unusual Christmas!

1- The pajama festival

What could be better than staying ALL day in your favorite pajamas? What if this was allowed every December 24th?

Instructions: The whole family (without exception!) puts on a onesie and meets in front of the tree to take the most fun group selfies.

Very important: Bring plenty of hot chocolate (with marshmallows, of course).

2- The medal ceremony

Now that everyone is cozy in their pajamas, let’s settle in for a fun craft session!

Instructions: Everyone makes a medal for another family member. When the craft is finished, we give the medal to the other person, congratulating them on one of their accomplishments of the year.

3- Santa’s GPS

5- Invented pizzas

Everyone likes pizza. It’s scientifically proven (right?).

Instructions: When tummies start to rumble, we gather around a table stocked with everyone’s favorite pizza ingredients. Each member of the family is given a naan bread, on which they place the sauce and ingredients of their choice. A quick trip to the oven and you’re in for a treat!

Bonus: Searching for Santa’s reindeer

For a free family outing that will capture the imagination of your children, join the interactive trail at Carrefour Angrignon. You’ll have to help Santa herd his lost reindeer through the mall.

Instructions: Go to the central courtyard to scan the QR code of the trail via your phone. You must then find the 9 funny reindeer, hidden on the retailers’ windows, to solve the game and have a chance to win a prize! Take the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and participate in the many free family activities offered on site.
